- 2L Class Representative Candidate, Jen Cadet ---
"My name is Jennifer Cadet and I am running for 2L Class Representative with Cathy Kwon. As an active member of many of Boalt's Solidarity! organizations, I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with the slate's diverse candidates as we represent the voices of all Berkeley Law students. I am excited to carry on the Boalt traditions of AmJur Day and the Halfway Through Party, but I also am prepared to take on the more serious role of representing the Class of 2014 within both BHSA and the larger Berkeley community." --Jennifer Cadet
- 2L Class Representative Candidate, Cathy Kwon ---
"Hi! My name is Cathy Kwon, and alongside my slatemate Jennifer Cadet, I am running for 2L Class Representative. As a 2L Representative, my broadest goal is to strengthen ties among the Boalt community. I hope that I will be able to do this as the liaison between BHSA and the 2L Class, by vocalizing the class's diversity of interests and pressing concerns.
2L Class Representatives have not only the unique duty of continuing traditions that foster a sense of community among the 2L class, but also that of the 1L class. The Halfway Through Party and AmJur Day are two traditions that do this. Because of this position, 2L Representatives have the ability to encourage a sense of community in the most amenable way. I hope to make events as inclusive as possible by being the ears and eyes of the 2L class" --Cathy Kwon

- 3L Class Representative Candidate, Albert Yeh ---
"We are running for 3L rep for the opportunity to contribute to our class and our academic community. We have the time to attend every meeting and the intensity to make sure that Boalt is vocally represented in student government. Both of us attended UC Berkeley as undergraduates, and our expertise on the how the city and university work will be a valuable addition to BHSA, and student representation as a whole. We will be easily accessible to all of you as Kealoha spends an inordinate amount of time on campus studying in the NALSA office (room 384) and Albert pays rent to live in the AALJ office. Please come by and say hello!
As 3L’s we are well on our way, if you haven’t checked out already, but it is vitally important that we give coherent and unified feedback to the administration and faculty about those things that have helped and hindered us as we transition from academic to professional lives.
We will forcefully continue BHSA’s tradition of preserving and enhancing student access to the resources and programs that make the Boalt experience what it should be." --Kealoha Pualani and Albert Yeh
- 3L Class Co-President Candidate, Kate Blanco ---
"I will help you organize THE ultimate Commencement experience." --Kate Blanco
- 3L Class Co-President Candidate, Aaron Ver ---
"I want to work with you to cement our unforgettable class legacy." -- Aaron Ver
- Graduate Assembly Representative Candidate, Joanna Hernandez ---

"My name is Joanna Hernandez. Monika and I are running for Graduate Assembly Representatives on BHSA to: (1) Increase the law school's representation at the Graduate Assembly, and (2) Promote Awareness of how the GA works. We want to demystify the process for ourselves. Through our activism, we want to show the GA that law students are diverse and critical thinkers on issues that affect the larger Berkeley community." --Joanna Hernandez
- Graduate Assembly Representative Candidate, Monika Langarica ---
"I am running for the GA Representative position with the Solidarity! Slate to be an advocate for law students to the broader graduate student community. Our community needs strong voices to represent our needs and opinions in these larger spaces and I am adamant that I can fulfill that need."
- Student Organization Liaison Candidate, Aida Ashouri ---

...more to come.
- Student Organization Liaison Candidate, Darren Modzewlewski ---
"I'm running for student organization representative because I think student groups help create and sustain the entire Berkeley Law student community in unique and wonderful ways—from sharing information and ideas through symposia to sponsoring social events. Given some of my experiences with building partnerships between organizations as an undergraduate, government employee, and most recently as Ph.D, student here at Berkeley, I think I I'm well suited to voice your concerns to BHSA and to the law school administration. I want ensure that you have the resources you need. I appreciate your consideration, and I look forward to representing you." --Darren Modzewlewski
